Fresh Georgia Peaches (Freestone)
Farm Fresh Georgia Peaches
Full of flavor and run down your chin juicy - you wont be disappointed! These peaches are perfect for a summer snack, crisp, pie, cobbler. Freestone peaches allow for the inner core to peel away from the peach easily.
Elizabeth's Peach Crisp:
6-8 Fresh Georgia Peaches
1 Stick of butter
1 Cup Quick Oats
1/3 Cup Brown Sugar
3/4 Cup Flour
Cinnamon & Sugar to sprinkle across the peaches
Preheat oven to 375 degrees and grease a 9X13 baking pan.
Slice and peel the peaches into greased baking pan. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on top of peaches, measuring with your heart!
In a medium bowl microwavable bowl, melt butter. Mix in oats, brown sugar and flour. Mix together with fingers until butter has combined with ingredients.
Sprinkle across top of the peaches. cover the dish and cook for 30 minutes.
Uncover and cook until top is a nice crispy consistency.
Remove from oven and let cool or serve warm with some Cinnamon Bun Ice Cream from Today's Harvest
