2-4lbs Green Beans

Olive Oil

1 Large Onion

*Sliced bacon optional


In a large pot, drizzle some olive oil, and dice the large onion. Sauté the onion, and optional bacon, then add snapped green beans to the pot. Add a spoonful of bacon grease, pour in 1/2 cup of water (or chicken stock) and cover the pot with a lid. Let simmer and stir occasionally until tender.


Salt, Pepper, and serve!
