Farm Fresh Beets
Today's Harvest offers freshly picked beets. Enjoy the rich flavor that fresh beets. Cook them stove top boiled, bake them, or put them on the grill. So many options. Beets are bundled into $2 bunches and typically contain 4-6 beets per bundle depending on size.
Today's Harvest Boiled Beets
Bring water to a boil on the stovetop - Adding Salt is optional
Cut the green tops off the fresh beets and add to boiling water.
Let cook roughly 20 -30 minutes depending on the size of the beets. You will know they are ready to eat when they can be easily punctured with a fork.
Remove from heat and drain water. When cooled, peel the outer layer off the beet.
Slice and serve!
